In 1972, Apollo 17 mission found Hypergate to Mars in the Moon. Because of that war between Earth and Mars begun. Finally, Mars Troops came from the sky to kill all humanity.

Tuturuuu!!! Right now I want to review anime and it is called Aldnoah Zero. This is one of great anime I have ever seen!

Anyway, Aldnoah Zero is a 2014 anime television, this series is originally created from A-1 Pictures and Ei Aoki directed this series! This series has 2 seasons :

1. Aldnoah Zero
2. Aldnoah Zero 2nd Season

Maybe this anime is not quite popular because it has a Mecha genre, because so many people do not really like the Robot genre in anime. But, you should watch this anime! This anime has different feeling to tell.

By the way, let’s go to review this series!

Quite Interesting Storyline

First, in my opinion, the storyline is good enough. Maybe this is the second-best mecha anime for me ( Code Geass is better 😁 ). Anyway, this series has a potential plot like the background of war between Earth and Mars. But also, Princess ( I’ll tell you later about who she is ) from Mars wants to fix the relationship between Earth and Mars.

Second, sadly the higher-ups from Mars intended to begin the war and so many times Princess almost lost her life. But, troops from Earth always protect her.

I think that is a good storyline because Princess wants to fix relationship between Earth and Mars. But, Mars does not want it and also the conflict is just that! The conflict between Protagonist and Antagonist is great to watch!

Well Developed Background Story between Earth Protagonist and Mars Protagonist!

First, Conflict between the Protagonist and the Antagonist makes this is better to watch! Inaho Kaizuka is the Earth Protagonist and Slaine Troyard is the Mars Protagonist.

Second, Inaho Kaizuka he trained to be one of Earth’s army to prepare war against Mars. Surprisingly he became the smartest and strongest army in the entire Earth. Inaho always face death or live situation when he faces his enemy especially he always carry whole humanity 😂

Third, If you watch Inaho Kaizuka you can call him as “Human’s rock” so many times he close to death and also he always makes the opportunity for him. When I see he is fighting with his enemy he just like does not have emotion or trauma feeling when death about come to him.

Fourth, Slaine Troyard is the son of a famous Aldnoah Scientist that came to Mars to explore and analyze the secrets behind the new technology. However, when Doctor Troyard passed away. Slaine Troyard is treated with so much discrimination or bad things. Because of that, he is given to Count Cruteo, a loyal supporter of Princess, to keep under close watch.

Fifth, Slaine Troyard is totally different from Inaho Kaizuka. Slaine Troyard has better character development and he always struggles during the war 😅 . For Slaine, the safety of the Princess is the main purpose and he always protects her with any cost.

Anyway, so many people fight about this “Inaho is right” and “Slaine is right” or something like that. Because two of them is main protagonist with different side. The final character that makes so many effect for the entire series is Princces!

Using Very Smart Tactics to Defeat Super Weapons and Technologies from Enemies

First, fight scene from this anime is so good! Especially when Inaho Kaizuka againts super robot from Mars. Out of nowhere Inaho always figure out how to win againts this super robot!

Anyway, that is why this series has a good mix of conflict between characters and this series shows a smart and great fight between Earth and Mars. If you watch this maybe you will be speechless after watch fight scene. I think that makes so many people attracted to this series! Because it is rare to see anime that fight with a brain, not just power!

Animation

First, well done for A-1 Pictures for making this animation. Great mixed between 2D animation and 3D animation.

Aldnoah Zero Fight Song

As you can see, that is smooth animation and vibrant animation. Fight scene from this series totally beautiful + if you watch Inaho fight againts super robots from Mars that is totally satisfying for me!

Music

First, music from this series is composed by Sawano Hiroyuki. So, the music is absolutely nice to hear and blend well with every scene. Here it is Opening and Ending: Aldnoah Zero 1st Season

When I heard these, it is absolutely amazing song! Fit perfectly with this series. Well done for Sawano Hiroyuki who composed these songs!

Characters

Let me tell you some characters from this anime!

Rachel Platten

First, Inaho Kaizuka, he is highly intelligent person but very difficult to experess his emotion with the others.

Second, Slaine Troyard, he is very loyal to Princess and he will fight with anyone for Princess life.

Third, Princess Asseylum, she is kind, caring, idealist and she believes any solutions will fix with peace solution and also she is naive.

Conclusion

This series is totally worth to watch and this series has totally a lof of potential! With unpredictable plot twist especially for season 1!
